Fred J. Bowers Dies At Birmingham - Bells, Tenn., Nov. 18 - Fred J. Bowers, 65, of Birmingham, Ala., died yesterday of a heart attack at his home. Funeral services will be today in Birmingham. The body will arrive in Malesus, Tenn., Friday and will be at the home of his niece, Mrs. W. A. Hudson. Burial will be at Somerville, Tenn., with Goosmann Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Bowers was a lumber dealer for a number of years. He was employed by the Alabama Light and Power Company at the time of his death. He was a Presbyterian. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Goosmann Bowers, a brother, Idus Bowers of Houston, Texas. He has a number of other relatives in West Tennessee.
