His mother was Mary A Dysert and father was George L Weatherwax, he had one brother Fred Walter Weatherwax(1942-2008)

Uncle Gary was also awarded a silver rose for agent orange. He first married Rhonda Douglas and they divorced, he later married Joanna Beeker and they divorved, he never remarried after that.



WEATHERWAX Gary E 58, of Oak Harbor, died Monday, December 10, 2007, at his residence. He was born April 28, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, to George and Mary Alice (Dysert) Weatherwax. He was a 1967 graduate of Clay High School. Gary worked as a boilermaker for Pilkington retiring in 2002. He had also worked for CSX Railroad, and Toledo Edison. Gary served in the Army during the Vietnam Era, and was a member of the VFW. He was also a member of the Oak Harbor Golf Club, and the NRA. As well as working in his yard, and bowling, Gary thoroughly enjoyed playing golf and making golf clubs. Survivors include his son, Matthew Weatherwax; daughter, Alicia Weatherwax; grandson, Lucas Hagemann; brother, Fred (Alice) Weatherwax, and nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death. The funeral mass will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor, with visitation at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, with military graveside services. Memorial contributions for Gary may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
