Funeral services for Jordan Allen, 42, who died in a local hospital Wednesday afternoon from injuries sustained when he was struck by a train Tuesday night, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the home, 781 15th Street. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Allen; his mother, Mrs. Ida Allen; four sons, Winfred, Warren, Gilbert, and Edward Allen; two daughters, Martha and Louisa Allen; three brothers, Herbert and Bennie Allen of Durham, and Butler Allen of Alamance County; and three sisters, Mrs. Mazie Gibbs and Miss Lula Allen of West Durham and Mrs. Nellie Pendergrass of Chapel Hill.
