Robert L "Bob" Green, 67, of Clearfield, PA died December 12, 2007 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Born July 3, 1940 in Woodland, PA he was the son of Lawrence H. Green and Bertha M. (Knepp) Green-Best.
He was a truck driver for Sam Lansberry Trucking for thirty years and was protestant by faith.
Mr. Green was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #97, Michael Sicks Post #1785 of The Veteran of Foreign Wars, Sons of Italy #189, a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #540, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #812 where he was a trustee for thirteen years and a life member of the Clearfield Second Ward Fire Company.
He is survived by twelve brothers and sisters, Mary Jane Summerlin of Georgia, John Green of Shiloh, Russell "Jim" Green and his wife Patricia, of Clearfield, Ronald Green and his wife Martha of Woodland, Rodger Green of Kerr Addition, Larry Green and his wife Cathy of Woodland, Harold D. Green and his wife Betsy of Clearfield, William "Bill" Green of Clearfield, Dorothy Schell and her husband Larry of North Carolina, Marlene Casher and her husband Joe of Woodland, Elaine Mease and her husband Alvin of Woodland and Ralph Best of Woodland. Also surviving his longtime friend and girlfriend Rosalie Green of Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Donald and Joe Green.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc, Clearfield, PA with Dr.Duane White officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of services. A memorial services will be conducted by the Eagles at 6:45 at the funeral home.
