Simon P. Gress, 95, Branson, formerly of this area, died Dec. 26, 1993, in a nursing home in Branson. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Gress was born near Jefferson City and lived in Kansas City, Kan., before he moved to Branson in 1960.
He was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Kansas City, Kan.; he retired in 1960. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Branson.
His wife, Anna Mae Gress died in 1967. Survivors include three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
