According to cousin Theron Ragsdale, Benson and Henrietta lived in the large house, overlooking the creek, previously owned by Enoch C. Garrison and Orpha Clementine Meaders. Benson loved to ride an old Model T around the area, and was beloved by all, including the many in the Truth Seekers Bible Class at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.
