Russell William Bolinger, 90, passed away June 15, 2007 at the Florida Hospital-Flagler. He was a native of Athens, Ohio, moving to Florida in 1982. He was a retired officer from the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a social worker for Biomedical Science Corp (BS Corp). He was a veteran of World War II, Korean conflict and Vietnam. He was a life member of Ohio State University Alumni Association, National Association of Social Workers, Academy of Certified Social Workers, MOA (Military Officers of America), Airforce Association and a life member of the 94th Army Infantry Division. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Bolinger, Palm Coast; one daughter, Carolyn Mustain, Springfield, Mo; one son, George Bolinger, Sarasota, Fla.; and five grandchildren. He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Craig Funeral Home, St. Augustine, is in charge of arrangements.
