Deborah King Harris, 69, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, November 8, 2021, at her residence.

Private family memorial services was held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Harris was born January 25, 1952, in Haralson County, Georgia, to the late Arnold & Bessie Lou Brock King. She worked for H.R. Kaminsky & Sons for over 20 years. She owned and operated a cleaning service as well as My Little Angels Daycare. She was "Nanny" to many children throughout the community. She enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises and visiting the mountains. Mrs. Harris loved a good yard sale and liked to scrapbook. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children: Dale & Jimmy Horn of Fitzgerald, Truman & Amber Grimsley of Fitzgerald, and Ricky Harris of Middleburg, Florida; grandchildren: Beth Layfield & Daniel, Ashley Hauesler & Greg, Matt Harris, Andrew Young, Jacob Harris, Josh Harris, Taylor Grimsley & Landon, Trey Grimsley & Savannah, Lili Grimsley, Dameon Dent, Michael Horn, and Katie Horn; four great-grandchildren: Ayden Layfield, Jackson Layfield, Sophia Layfield, and Ada Hauesler; and a sister, Sharon Spicer of Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle F. Harris and a brother, Jerry King
