Carl K. Wimberley, 84, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2021. Carl was born November 24, 1936, and was raised in Oklahoma City by his parents Carl C. and Lois Kerr Wimberley. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1954. He attended New Mexico Military Institute and Oklahoma City University. He spent his career as an insurance adjuster and private investigator.

Over the years, Carl had several hobbies, from playing softball, racquetball, and golf where he spent more time looking for balls than hitting them. He also enjoyed Friday morning breakfasts with his friends, loved spending time with his family and friends at Lake Texoma and always made time to cook his famous Roni Mac for Sunday dinners.

He is survived by his son, Carl Jr.; son, Brett and wife Kelly; daughter, Tara and husband Brent Sanders; grandson, Brandon Couch and wife Brooke; and grandson, Preston Couch.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Memorial Park Historic Chapel, 13313 N Kelley, Oklahoma City.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oklahoma Children's Hospital Foundation for pediatric cancer research at 901 Lincoln Blvd, Suite 305, OKC, OK 73104 or www.donorbox.org/okchf.
