Virgia (Mayfield) Titus, 87 of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2021, at her daughter's home in Toronto, OH with her family by her side.

She was Born on November 10, 1933, in Mobley, WV a daughter of the late Everett and Esta (Kendall) Mayfield. In addition to her parents, Virgia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley Dwain "Tad" Titus, her brother, Arman Mayfield, her sisters, Jean Wyatt, Esther Mayfield, Mavis Goontz; her son-in-law, Richard Heintz, and a special granddaughter, Kelly Heintz.

She graduated from Valley High School in Pine Grove, WV and worked for several years as a stocker at JC Penny Department Store and as a homemaker for most of her life. Virgia was a member of the Colliers Nazarene Church.

Virgia is survived by three devoted daughters, Diana (Ronald) Burchett of East Liverpool, OH, Kathy Giles of Toronto, OH, and Billie Jo (John) Stephen of Colliers, WV; three brothers, Merlin Mayfield, Donald Mayfield, and Edwin (Loretta) Mayfield, four sisters, Vesta Weaver, Carol (Gerald) Fordyce, Sharon Goddard, and Margaret (Jim) Schroeder; seven grandchildren, Cheri (John) Bickerstaff, Stacy (Matthew) Jones, Isaiah (Whitney) Giles, Brett (Ashley) Giles, Timothy (Kacie) Stephen, and Dylan Stephen (Brittany), fifteen great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11th from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday, November 12th from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. with her nephew, Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV.

Virgia will be laid to rest next to her husband, Stanley at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
