Inscription

In loving memory of Mary Maud the beloved wife of Lieut. William Seton Browne, 6th Regiment, Punjaub Infantry, the eldest daughter of Col. Eldred Pottinger, R.A., who died of cholera at Edwardesabad on the 8th November 1892 aged 22 years. This token of love and affection has been erected by her bereaved husband and her sorrowing father. "God giveth His beloved sleep."
