Clinton W. Dollar 1923 - 2003 Clint Dollar passed away peacefully on April 28, 2003 after many years in residence at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, at age 79. He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances and their six children, Deborah (Larry) Johnson of Carnegie, OK, Michael F. Curran of San Francisco, Mary Curran (Jerry) Johnston of San Ramon, Christopher (Liz) Curran of Pleasant Hill, Robert (Kathy) Curran of Dublin, Connie Curran (Marty) Trokey of Orland Park, IL; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one soon to arrive. Also surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Wanda (Harry) Schwartz of Concord, Shirley (Lane) Fiedler of Sacramento, Jack Dollar of Concord and Patrick Dollar of Antioch. Born in Mena, Arkansas, Clint served in the Navy during WWII and retired from the US Government Point Molate Naval Fuel Depot in 1984. He was an avid Bay Area sports fan with a particular fondness for the SF Giants. He was just starting to realize his dream of extensive world travel when felled by a massive stroke in 1997. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. at the Oak Park Hills Chapel in Walnut Creek, and to attend the Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 199 Brandon Road in Pleasant Hill.
