It is hard to comprehend the many ways that Ada JoAnn Alexander Judd has touched our lives during her time on this earth.

We were blessed to have her with us physically for 85 years and we know that we will have her with us eternally -- guiding, loving, and nurturing.

We will forever thank our Heavenly Father for this great lady.

She was born May 30, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah and left this earth on January 24, 2017.

JoAnn taught us to be kind to all of God's children -- as we watched her smile with ease at others during her happiest days as well as her most difficult days.

JoAnn taught us that the family unit is a treasure, worth sacrificing for and giving our all to.

She was a daughter to Rudger M. and Ada Louise Alexander who preceded her in death, a sister to Donald Ray Alexander, and a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother.

She taught us to serve others at every moment of everyday -- working tirelessly and optimistically to bring joy and comfort to all she came in contact with.

Service made her happy.

JoAnn taught us that we should be our best selves as she loved us all uniquely.

(Every one of her 23 grandchildren insist they are her favorite!)

She taught us to cherish our spouses as we watched her light up every time she looked at her beloved husband Big Jim (James Sevy Judd, Jr.) who also preceded her in death.

Theirs is a true love story.

She taught us to be strong and conscientious in everything we pursue.

She taught us to enjoy our individual talents just as she enjoyed hers - sewing, crocheting, story-telling, and our favorite, cooking. She taught us to love the Savior Jesus Christ and the goodness of His teachings. Her children Steven (Holli), Ryan (Leslie), Craig (Denise), Ronald (Teresa), and Karen (Barry) are trying our best to embrace her lifetime of lessons - knowing however, that the impact of her life is incomprehensible.
