Barbara Ann Hempfling Bennett Geibel, 74 of Butler passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Hope Hospice Center in Cape Coral, Florida.

Born September 30, 1947 in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse C. Hempfling and Gertrude (Kennedy) Hempfling.

Barb was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. John's Worship site in Coylesville. Barbara enjoyed baking cookies and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, David W. Geibel, who she married in 2003, her daughter, Lorraine (Edward) Thiele, her son, John (Naomi) Bennett, 4 grandchildren; William and James Thiele and Clayton and Autumn Bennett, and her brother, David Hempfling of Butler, who passed away just 30 hours after she did.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward John Bennett and an infant daughter.

Interment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Butler, Pa.
