Charles "CV" Crownover, age 78, of Schererville, IN passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021, after suffering from Dementia for 6 years.
CV is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara, his children Tiffini Jamka (Wajew) and Jason Crownover (fiancé Tina Glibota), grandchildren Jordan Polito, Ryan Polito (fiancé Madison Sottos), Anthony Jamka, Colin Crownover, Lindsey Polito & bonus grandson, Devin Drlich, brothers, Clip and Doug Crownover, sister, Renee (John) Federenko and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chris, parents, Vernon and Bernice Crownover, in-law's, Gilbert & Mae Mitchell and brother-in-law Cecil "Corky" Mitchell. CV was blessed to have countless friends and family who meant the world to him. His family would also like to express abundant thanks to his caregivers at Golden Living Nursing Home. It is beyond words how grateful we are to all of you. You all are truly amazing.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
CV was a Lifetime member of the Homebuilder's Association, building hundreds of homes in the Lake Country region. In later years, he began flipping houses, including one of his original builds. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, including many cruises and trips to 6 continents. He was definitely a proponent of "Boys with their Toys", in his life, owning airplanes, houseboats, poolhalls, speedboats, grocery stores, racecars and motorcycles and enjoying them all.
