He is survived by his mother, Sophie Hanzelka of Columbus; his wife, Emily Sue Grant Hanzelka of Houston; his daughters, Denise Rogers and her husband Mike, of Richmond; and Mellisa Pizzini and her husband Roland, of Westbury; a granddaughter, Celeste Pizzini of Westbury; and a sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Simon Borak of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Mildred Dirba.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003 at Southpark Chapel, 1310 North Main in Pearland, 281-485- 2711.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003 at the Southpark Chapel with burial in Southpark Cemetery.
