Evelyn Grigsby Ditto Evelyn L. Grigsby Ditto 75, of Springfield died at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 27, 1916, in Athens, the daughter of Charles and Dora Theison Ormsby. She married Alfred Grigsby in 1937, and he preceded her in death. She married Kenneth Ditto in 1965, and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one brother, John Ormsby, and one sister, Thelma Ormsby.

Mrs. Ditto was employed by the secretary of state until retiring in 1980. Surviving are two sons, Alfred Grigsby Jr. of Virden and Lawrence Grigsby of Mexico City; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Alta Aanerud of Rogue River, Ore.; two nieces; two nephews; and several cousins.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
