3411673 Private Ernest Francis Grant, 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment Age 20 from Thurgoona NSW. Grant was killed in action at the Battle of Long Tan, Phuoc Tuy on the 18th August 1966. He was shot while removing a backpack from a wounded soldier.
NOTE - Awarded the US Presidential Unit Citation for the Battle of Long Tan.
