Daughter of James Washington & Martha (Harbison) McIntire. Born between 1871 & 1872, she was one of several children who died during a diptheria epidemic which hit the Burch Ridge area from April to November of 1877. She shares a white marble stone with her sister who died within days of her.

This information comes in part from Wetzel county, WV death records and a photo of her headstone taken in the 1970's by Jim Myers & his notes. The photo from the 1970's is not clear enough to make out anything other than her first name which was done with digital enhancement.

A trip to the cemetery in 2004, to confirm the names & dates on the headstone and possibly a better photo, revealed a very overgrown cemetery with weeds in some areas almost waist high. Her double headstone could not be found in the underbrush.
