He was born on August 12, 1927 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late William & Ida (Pruitt) Bowman.
He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Evelyn (Quinn) Bowman. They moved to the area in 1992. Also surviving are his five children; Margie Bowman of Hamilton; Norma Smith of Blue Ash; Shirley Meade of Covington, KY; Fernie Bowman of Hamilton; Loretta and husband Sunny Maldonado; several step-children; Richard Quinn; Ronald Quinn; Robert Quinn; Twylah Penny; Vickie Scarbrough; Gerry Lewis; Tammy Evans; and Heather Quinn; sister, Helen Hazelwood of Hamilton, OH; and thireteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 22 brothers and sisters, and a son, Gene Bowman.
He was a member of the Troy Fish and Game.
Retired in 1985 from Armco Steel in Middletown, Ohio.
Visistation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2005 from 4-6PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 10:00AM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Brother Paul Napier officiating the service.
Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
