L.T. 'Pete' Parnell

Funeral services for L.T. "Pete" Parnell,70,of Okay,will be 2.p.m. Tuesday,June 29,1993 at the First United Methodist Church in Okay,with the Rev. Ralph Radcliff officiating.

Mr. Parnell was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Muskogee to Bud Parnell and Minnie Pearl (Collins) Parnell. He died Friday, June 25, 1993 at the Veterans Administration Regional Hospital in Muskogee.

Mr.Parnell was a resident of Okay for many years.He was a retired operator of heavy construction equipment,and had been employed by Bowline Construction and Barnes Construction.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Jess Parnell.

Survivors include his wife, Louise, of the home; four sons, Keith Parnell of Okay, Mike Parnell of Muskogee, Don Parnell of Stroud and Ronnie Parnell of Okay; two stepdaughters, Susan Rodgers of Wainright and Kay Bauers of of Slidell, La; two brothers, Bill Parnell and Eddie Parnell, both of Vinita; six sisters ,Beatrice Terry and Della Mallete, both of Vinita, Edna Terry of Sedan, Kan., Helen Hamlett of Payola,Kan.,Johnnie Pyle of Miami and Myrtle Kallam of Collinsville; special nieces, Cora and Crystal and friends and Babe McDaniel.

Interment will be in Citizens Cemetery,Fort Gibson,under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home,Wagoner.
