Arthur Lee Alexander passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the age of 86.

He was born September 11, 1935 in Walthall County Mississippi and was a resident of Metairie Louisiana for the past 60 years.

He was the son of Cecil Ellis Alexander and Minnie Lee Dunaway Alexander.

Mr. Alexander served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He worked for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad for many years. He was a member of Bridgedale Baptist Church in Metairie Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and five brothers Paul Ellis Alexander, LT Alexander, John Henry Alexander, Jimmy R Alexander and Talmadge R Alexander.

He is survived by his wife of 65 wonderful years, Bobbie Freeman Alexander, his daughter Beth Alexander Borgstede and grandchildren Scott Jeffrey Borgstede and Ashley Beth Borgstede; one brother Earl Alexander (Nellie) and one sister Toy Alexander Johnson Buie, sister-in-laws Shirley and Helen, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a Graveside Service on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at Hollywood Cemetery McComb, Mississippi. Dr. David Millican to officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will handle the arrangements.
