TAMPICO – David M. Adams, 62, died Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Rock River Hospice & Home, in Sterling.
He was born on April 20, 1959, in Princeton, IL, the son of Robert Eldon and Velma Eileen (Connelly) Adams.
He attended Tampico Grade School and graduated from Newman Central Catholic High School in Sterling. He was employed at Frantz Manufacturing in Sterling. He married the former Jennifer Wakenight on June 4, 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; his children, Rylan Adams, Lucas (Emily) Adams, Skye Adams and Emma Adams; his brothers, Robert (Mary) Adams, Douglas (Brenda) Adams, Michael Adams, Gregory Adams and Francis (Laura) Adams and his sister, Marjorie (Jay) Saathoff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William Edward Adams and his sister, Jul E. Adams-Watkins.
Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. The funeral will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home, with the Reverend Richard M. Russo, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tampico, officiating. Burial will conclude at St. Mary Cemetery.
