Mrs. Fern Arb, 72, of 2015 6th Ave., died early Monday morning at Weld County General Hospital.
Mrs. Arb was born June 12, 1889, at Independence, Kansas, where she was reared and married on October 16, 1907 to Bert Elmer Arb.
The lived in Nash, Oklahoma, until 1916 when they moved to Loveland. They came to Greeley to reside in 1929. Mrs. Arb and her husband owned their own plumbing, heating, and electric business at Loveland. Mrs. Arb was employed here for 16 years by Herdman Electric Company. Later she was co-proprietor of the Corset Shop for several years with Mrs. Bea Musser. Mrs. Arb's husband died on January 9, 1949.
Mrs. Arb was a member of the First Christian Church, Royal Neighbors of America, American Legion Auxiliary, and Business and Professional Women's Club.
Surviving are two sons: Merle Arb of Greeley and Cleo Arb of Eaton; two brothers: Joseph and Gilbert Sewell, both of Cherryville, Kansas; and two sisters: Mrs. Marie Ioerger and Mrs. Imogene Garrison, both of Greeley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P.M., from Adamson Memorial Chapel followed by interment at Linn Grove Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the First Christian Church Building Fund.
