Ingeborg (Ingrid) Berta Byers, 70 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the hospital in Ardmore. She was born in Duren / Rhld, Germany to the late Erich Oswald and Margarete Wilhelmine Albretch on February 17, 1937. Ingrid was raised in Germany and Scotland before moving to the United States in 1965. She moved to Oklahoma in 1970 and lived Tulsa. In 1999 she moved to Cumberland where she lived the rest of her life. Ingrid was employee of the year in 1994 and 1995 at the Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She was affiliated with the Cumberland Baptist church. Ingrid enjoyed cleaning, visiting and talking with people.
She is survived by many friends; to know Ingrid was to love her.
Ingrid was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Timothy Byers, and her friend and companion Bernard (Red) E. Hall.
Graveside services will be Mon. December 10, 2007 , 4:00 pm at Cumberland Cemetery, Cumberland, Oklahoma
