Andrew P. Robertson, 79, of Riverton, IL passed away on Sunday November 21, 2021 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

He was born in Springfield, IL on September 4, 1942 the son of George R. and Margaret J (Reynolds) Robertson.

Andrew served for 5 years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1966. He married Eleanor B. Stephens on September 3, 1967 at the Riverton Christian Church. Andrew was a coal miner for Peabody Coal for over 30 years and a life time member of the DAV and a member of VFW Post 755. He was also an honorary fireman for the Riverton Fire Department and a diehard St. Louis Cardinals Fan. In his free time, he enjoyed doing genealogy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Andrew is survived by his wife, 4 children, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, as well as several nieces nephews and friends.

Burial will be conducted at Camp Butler National Cemetery following the funeral.
