"Alonzo Joseph Moran, 58, a life-long resident of Biloxi, died Wednesday morning en route to a hospital in New Orleans where he was going for a check-up. He was a retired marine engineer and carpenter and lived at 601 E. Division. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 1200, York Rite bodies, and the carpenter union. Moran wa sthe son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moran of Biloxi. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeannette Entrekin; one daughter, Mrs. L. C. Jordy of Port Harcourt, Nigeria; four sons, Eugene, Robert and Lonnie Moran, all of Biloxi, and William Moran of Jacksonville, Fla; and seven grandchildren. Masonic rites will be conducted for Mr. Moran, but funeral arrangements are incomplete at the present. The body will be at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home."
