Obituary:
Marion Baughn died Friday, October 8, 2021 at Court House Manor. He was born in Washington Court House on May 14, 1931 to the late Wanda Whaley and Harold Ray Baughn. He was a member of South Side Church of Christ and is preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Susanne Baughn.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, his son Michael R. Baughn and daughter Penny S. Carver.

Marion is survived by several siblings as well as his son Marion "Ross" (Michele) Baughn of Washington Court House and daughter Sally (Bill) Bailey of Grove City. He had ten grandchildren: Marion R. Baughn, Michael R. Baughn, Lance E. Heath, Benjamin D. Carver, Matthew R. Baughn, Kyle R. Baughn, Alyssa N. Baughn, Liam A. Bailey, Jacob A. Bailey and Hannah M. Bailey. He also had six great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends that will miss him.

Marion served 20 years in the US Air Force. After retiring from the service, he managed the appliance center for Montgomery Wars and later Birch Rice Home Furnishings. He was an active member of Masonic Lodge 107 from many years. He loved repairing clocks and watches as well as working on old engines, a hobby handed down by his uncles. In addition to his hobbies he loved to camp and spend winters in Florida with his wife Susie. They spent many hours in heated battle over their Canasta games.

He will be interred at Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating the family service. Marion will be laid to rest beside his wife Susie. May they both rest in peace.
