A very old resident of Glen Innes, in the person of Mrs Sarah Adams passed away at her residence, Torrington-street, on Tuesday last after a long and painful illness extending over nine months. The deceased lady was born in Bath (Eng.) in the year 1824, and had been in tho colony 73 years, having spent 64 years in Glen Innes. The late Mrs. Adams's first husband was Mr. William Long, to whom she was married at Muswellbrook, the family being six daughters (Mrs. W. Johnson, Mrs. H. Kopsh, Mrs. Jas. Mudd, Grafton; Mrs. Symons, Sydney; Mrs. J. Murray, Mrs. John Cassidy, Glen Innes), and three sons (William, George, and Alexander Thos. Long). Through her second marriage to the late Mr. Wm.
