Daniel C. Bunce, age 36, of Eau Claire died Tuesday surrounded by his family.
Dan was born June 22, 1971, to Gary and Marjorie (Boehlke) Bunce in Eau Claire. In 1989, he graduated from Memorial High School and from Chippewa Valley Technical College. He then worked for E.O. Johnson. Dan later completed his training as an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW 14. He enjoyed reading; fishing; camping; golf; his cats, Tasha and Isabell; and being with his family and friends. Dan will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Marjorie of Chippewa Falls and Gary of Eau Claire; brother, Joel of Chippewa Falls; sister, Susan (Eric) Schmidt of Chippewa Falls; nephew, Austin Bunce; nieces, Kassi Schmidt, Jordyn Bunce, Jessi Schmidt, Erika Schmidt and Jadelyn Schmidt; grandfather, LaMoine Bunce; aunts, Cheryl Mattison and Patricia (Gary) Holstein; uncle, Milton (Judy) Luchau; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvina Bunce, LaVerna and Charles "Bud" Boehlke; aunt, Barbara Luchau; and uncle, Darrel "Matt" Mattison.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at Evergreen Funeral Home (on Golf Road, one block east of Hwy. 93), with the Reverend D.J. Rasner officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
