Carol was born in Bronx, NY on March 3, 1951, daughter of the late Joseph M. Dragotta and Angela (Ninivaggi) Dragotta Versace and stepdaughter of the late Dante Versace. She graduated from North Rockland High School in Haverstraw, NY. She worked as a librarian aid for the City of Waterbury Department of Education at Sprague School for a short period of time and most of her career at North End Middle School. She was an avid Reader. Carol enjoyed expressing love, comfort and joy, she did this by sending greeting cards for any and all occasions. Her infectious smile and bubbly personality made her a second mother to many.
Carol leaves to honor and cherish her memory; her son, Nicholas Angelicola, Jr. of Malden, MA; a sister, Danette Dunn of Waterbury. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Dragotta and a brother John Dragotta.
Arrangements: Funeral will be held Friday December 3, 2021 at 8:45 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury to St. Michael Church 62 St. Michael Drive Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m... Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
