Mrs. Fallis was born Veola Mae Paschal on Nov. 1, 1917, in rural Luray to Clarence and Barbara Robinson Paschal.
She taught first and second grades at Bunker Hill and third and fourth grades at Luray. She retired from teaching to become a homemaker.
She attended Fort Hays State College.
She married Denzil Marlar Fallis on Feb. 4, 1939, in Luray.
She was a charter member and past president of Luray Harmony Club, a member and office holder of the United Methodist Women, and a member of Vincent Methodist Church, Luray United Methodist Church, the Luray church building fundraising committee and Mary Wade Strother Chapter of the DAR.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and teaching Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Michelle Fallis Polson; and a brother, Victor Paschal.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Fallis of Salina and Lauda Fallis Mull and husband Jim Mull of LaPorte, Colo.; a son, Michael and wife Pauline of Luray; a brother, Don Paschal and wife Glenna of Russell; two nephews, Nick Paschal and Jeff Paschal and wife Deb; and three nieces, Janette Nixon, Dianna Wineinger and husband Bruce, and Lori Spencer and husband Rick; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Luray United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Vincent Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Luray United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Rodrick & Minear Funeral Chapel, Luray.
