HARMON CHESTER BRADEN
Harmam Chester Braden was born in Morgan County, Mo., Oct 8, 1880, the son of Albert and Margaret Braden. He passed away at Kidwell Rest Home in Versailles October 13th, 1961 at the age of 81 years.
On December 22, 1902 he was united in marriage to Parlee Forth. To them three sons were born. Mrs Braden preceded him in death in 1949. On March 16th, 1954 he was united in marriage to Prisscilla Stahl, who survives.
Mr Braden was a retired farmer. He spent his entire life in the Stover community. He was a Deacon in the Baptist church and was a charter member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
He is Survived by his wife of the home, two sons, Everett of Crescent City, California, Herbert of Stover, one brother, Gilford of Sedalia; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, six brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held on Sunday Oct 15, 1961 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvarty Baptist Church with Rev. James Delong officiating. Interment was in the Shiloh Church cemetery under the direction of Scrivner-Stevinson Funeral Home.
