"Rena Belle Thomas, 89, died Dec. 10, 1992, in the Liberty Terrace Care Center, Liberty, where she lived. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Newcomer's White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas was born in Kearney and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Barry Christian Church. Her husband, Harley E. Thomas, died in 1982. Survivors include a sister, Jennie D. Nicholson of Holt." The Kansas City Star, December 12, 1992
