William Henry Turner is the oldest child born to Parmenus and Catherine Harvey Turner. He was born in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. There is a discrepancy for his birthdate, family sources have 20 Nov 1859, but his headstone reads 20 Dec 1861. From the census one would assume that the 1859 is the correct birth year.

He married Eudora (Dora) Edna Turner on 22 Feb 1909 in Sedan, Chautauqua County, Kansas.

They made their home in Indian Territory, Strike Axe Twp., Osage County, Oklahoma. He died at their home after a brief illness on 3 July 1915.

To this marriage there were two daughters born, Dora Edna Turner and Minnie Henry Turner.

From family oral history, Henry Turner, was an orchardist. In an interview that was taped in 1968 when his widow Eudora was 98 years of age, she described the place where they lived and how Henry loved to garden. She also describes his last few days of life.

We know that Henry was married previously to Flora Gross and had 2 or 3 children.
