Bobby Ray Martin, age 80, of Longstreet, Louisiana passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on January 31, 1941 to Mary Helen and Phillip Ray Martin, who both preceded him in death. He lived in Shreveport for 31 years before moving to country living in Longstreet, which was a great joy for him. Bobby was a graduate of Fair Park High School and attended Louisiana Tech. He served his community as a mason with the Mount Vernon #83 and A.M. Lodges. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 31 years. Bobby was an avid hunter and fishman. He loved being in the outdoors.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Claudette; three children, James and wife Tina, Marshall and wife Syrenia and Andria and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Ashley and husband William, Taylor and wife Megan, Megan and husband Cody, Kara and husband Reis, Jake, Justin, Austin and Maci; great grandchildren, Carley Rae, Madilynn, Adley, Olivia, Daxton and Owen.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108, followed by a celebration of his life at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Taylor Martin, Jake Martin, Cody Lee, Austin Lee, Waymon Fuller and Chad Fuller.
