Aaron E. Troyer, 85, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on December 5, 2021, at home and surrounded by loving family.
He was born on September 9, 1936, in Farmerstown, Ohio, to Emmanuel & Ada (Miller) Troyer. On October 7, 1960, he married Ida Luella Miller in Berlin, Ohio. He was a retired welder and did lawn care. In his later years he marked, cut and sewed many comfort tops for Christian Aid Ministries.
He will be missed by Ida, his loving wife of 60 years; 9 children,

Jesse (& Malinda) Troyer, Crossville, Tennessee,
Jason (& Holly) Troyer, Pulaski, Tennessee, and
Sharon (& Norman) Miller, Crossville, Tennessee;
45 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Aden Troyer of Walnut Creek, Ohio, and Mattie (& James) Lowry of Hagerstown, Maryland; and brother-in-law, Melvin Miller of McConnelsville, Ohio.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Emmanuel & Ada Troyer; one sister, Esther (Melvin) Miller of McConnelsville, Ohio; and one sister-in-law, Betty (Aden) Troyer of Walnut Creek, Ohio.
Funeral services was be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 10:oo am at Berea Mennonite Church, Rutherford, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 4:oo pm, then 6:00 pm – 8:0o pm at Berea Mennonite Church in Rutherford. Burial was in the church cemetery.
