CLARION - Samuel Austin Wensel, 73, of Clarion RD 2, died at, 10:15 p. m. Wednesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Erie.
Born June 11, 1886, in Clarion he was the son of Albert and Ann Ganoe Wensel. He was married August 8, 1923, to Evelyn Sarvey, who survives.
Mr. Wensel was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the VFW Club and the Clarion American Legion Post.
The body is in the Goble Funeral Home, Clarion, where friends may call and attend services a 2 p. in. Saturday. Rev. Ralph Richardson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Clarion, will officiate. Interment will be in Clarion Cemetery.
