Geo. W. Williams died at the Hotel Coquille, Monday evening, of heart failure. He had resided in the county for some time, being employed on the river steamers until the last few months when ill health compelled him to give up work. He was born in Harrison county, Missouri in 1857. The remains were buried Wednesday, March 9, in the Masonic cemetery.
His mother, a daughter, three brothers and two sisters living in Texas; two cousins, Bill Williams and Mrs. John Shelton, of this county, are left to mourn his loss.
