Mr. Odian David Denard, 69, of Washington, entered into rest Monday morning, December 13, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Denard was born in Tucker , Ga., to Odian Adolph Denard and Mary Possie Danner Denard. He had lived in Washington since 1968. He was an engineer/contractor in the family owned business (Denard & Moore Construction Co.) for many years. He was the husband of Debra Lanter Denard, and was a member of the Fishing Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Lanter Denard, of Washington; Matthew D. Denard, and wife Paige, of Washington; Thomas A. Denard, and wife Betsy, of Washington; daughter-in-law, Jamie Price Denard, of Columbia, SC; and four grandchildren, Austin T. Denard, Kari Anne Denard, Price Odian Denard, and Landen Harrison Denard; and was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Odian Denard.
Funeral services will be 11:00a.m. Thursday morning, December 16, 2021, at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Cates officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, December 15, 2021, from 7-9pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Barry Denard, Brian Denard, Jim Baston, Bobby Danner, Jeff Daniels, and Dennis Bufford.
