Bonnie Lura Moore Cash, 93, went to be with Jesus peacefully in her sleep at her home in Chattanooga, TN on December 14, 2021.
Bonnie was born on December 26, 1927 in Banks County Georgia to the late George and Cora Whitfield Moore. She was a wonderful homemaker, beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, sister, and friend. Bonnie had been a faithful member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN since 1967 (now the Church of the Highland in Harrison, TN) until she was no longer able to attend in person. She was a diligent student of the Bible and a great prayer warrior for many throughout her life. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalms 4:8.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Aaron Cash, her brothers, George, Thomas D., Joe, and JT Moore and great-grandson, Aaron Lee Blackwell.
She is survived by sisters Barbara Sue Holcomb of Gillsville, GA, Ruby Abernathy of Lula, GA, Reba (Ray) Aiken of Maysville, GA; brother Kenneth (Sue) Moore of Flowery Branch, GA; her daughters Angela (Randy) Ellis of Chattanooga and Joy Cash of Fisherville, KY; son, Anthony Cash of Chattanooga; granddaughters Nina (Jeremy) McDougal and Lauren Ellis both of Chattanooga; grandsons Tyler Blackwell of Fisherville, KY, Garrett Ellis of Chattanooga, and Grant (Jessica) Ellis of Greenville, SC; great-granddaughters Courtney Blackwell, Abigail McDougal, Adriana Blackwell, and Willow Ellis; great-grandsons Aidan Blackwell, Bentley McDougal, Alijah Blackwell, and Jude Ellis and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery
