Melinda Ann was my calico cat. She was a very loving, kind, considerate animal who was with me for 20 years. She was put to sleep on Dec. 6th, 2007, after suffering kidney failure. She also had two bouts with hyperthyroidism, which was being controlled by the medication Tapezole, which unfortunately damaged her liver.
In her memory, we are asking people to donate to their local SPCA to help other animals. Melinda was adopted from the Centre Hall PA SPCA, in Central Pennsylvania, 15 miles east of State College, the home of Pennsylvania State University.
