Vivian Mays Hutson, 81, passed away Wednesday morning, December 15, 2021 at Walnut Cove Health and Rehab.
Vivian was born on August 20, 1940 in Henry County, VA to the late Howard and Ruby Carter Mays. She was retired from Hanes Hosiery and was a member of Refuge Baptist Church. Vivian loved reading and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lincoln Hutson; and a brother, Samuel Mays.
She is survived by her loving children, Darleen Ward (Joseph) and Ricky Hutson; 3 grandchildren, Justin Ward, Kayla Ward, and James Ward; 1 great grandson, Landon Benjamin; 4 sisters, Diane Sizemore, Thelma Wilson, Pat Sparks, and Frankie Gyourko.
There will be a 2:00 pm graveside service held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Nelson and Pastor Don Charles, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
