Friends are being received at the James J. Alfieri Funeral Home, Wilmerding, PA for Mrs. Antoinette Paesano, 58, of 450 Caldwell Avenue, Wilmerding, who died Saturday in Braddock General Hospital. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Wilmerding, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, East McKeesport. Mrs. Paesano was the daughter of Vito Mirro and the late Mary Giglio Mirro. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church. Surviving are her husband Gaetano Paesano; her father of Wilmerding; sons, Albert of Export; Raymond of Trafford and Eugene at home; daughters, Mrs. Florence Alexander of Wilmerding and Mrs. Virginia Margie of Boston, PA; 18 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Mirro of Wilmerding, James and Elmer Mirro of Monroeville, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Scalzitti of Wilmerding.
Antoinette was born in Palemonte, Salerno Italy and came to America at age 4 with her mother, Mary Giglio, aboard the "Florida" on November 11, 1907 (New York). They had left Naples Italy on October 27, 1907. Sabato Giglio of Palemonte, Salerno Italy is listed as Antoinette's grandfather and Mary Giglio's father.
