Born in Salem, Roger was the son of the late P. Albert and Loretta (Berube) Nadeau. He worked for many years as a shoe cutter at Dutch's Shoe in Salem before their closing. Thereafter, he began his career in plumbing until his retirement in 1998. Roger was an avid outdoor sportsman. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting and loved traveling in their fifth-wheel cross country for years before finally retiring to their home in Beverly.
Along with his wife, Barbara A. (Swenbeck) Nadeau of Salem, Roger is survived by his sons, a son-in-law, his eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, and nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon (Nadeau) Bickford.
