Cora R. Alexander was the daughter of Robert E. Lee Alexander and Julia Amanda Henslee Alexander. She had eight siblings, brothers Miles, John "Blacky", George "Dub", David, and Harold, and sisters, Clara, Ida, and Agnes. She was the widow of Charles "Charlie" Moss, and of Olen Clark, Sr.

Mother to Charles Moss jr., Homer Moss, Bobbie Jean Moss, JC Moss, Julia Corinne Moss, James "Jimmie" Moss, Patricia Clark, Olen Ray Clark, Jack Clark, and Donald Clark.

Cora was a midwife for many years, and a hospital nurse's assistance later in life. She was a patient and loving person who faced many difficulties and came out of it with a smile.
