Steven R. Adams, 58, of Sparland, died on December 15, 2021 in a car accident just north of Lacon. Born on December 4, 1963 in Peoria to the late Albert and Nellie (Daily) Adams, He was raised by Nellie and her 2nd husband Louie Holocker.
Everyone called him Steve-O. He was there with a smile on his face and to lend you a hand in any project you had going.
Steve is survived by his sons Travis (Sarah) Staker of Yates City, Jason (Karly) Adams of Lacon; daughter Ashley (Ben) Stivers of Varna; sisters Charlotte (Glynn) Crew of Magnolia, Deborah Lee Clare of Sparland, Sandy Denton of Arkansas, Mary (Darryl) Clemson of Sparland, Vicky (Chad) Smith of Lacon; Brothers Albert (Cammy) Adams of Oklahoma, Ruben Holocker of Sparland, Jeffery (Angie) Holocker of Sparland, Louis "Buck" (Teryl) Holocker of Varna, grandchildren Eathan, Lucy, Jaylee, Ella, Emma, and Asa. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law Larry Clare.
