Born November 27, 1946, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harry B. "H.B." Barfield and the late Annie Faye Matthews Barfield. Peggy was a loving wife and devoted mother. Her favorite role was being a loving Nana to her four grandchildren. They brought her immeasurable joy and were the apple of her eye. She also loved her fur babies down through the years, and they held a special place in her heart. She was a member of New Town Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired insurance agent. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold Barfield and Micky Barfield; and one sister-in-law, Jeanette Barfield.
