Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 3:30 pm at Memorial Gardens with Sonny McLellan officiating.
Faye was born June 17, 1932, to Charlie Sylvester Moore and Addie Lou Godfrey Moore of Belk, Alabama. She was a 1950 graduate of New Hope High School and later attended Mississippi University for Women. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Faye was a long-distance operator for South Central Bell until her retirement in 1980. She then worked alongside her husband, Marvin, at Weathers Electric until Marvin's passing in 1990.
In addition to Marvin, Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Frank Dean Moore, sisters Mae Ellen Price and Helen Webster, sons Charlie and Don Weathers, and granddaughter Amy Weathers. She is survived by sons, Jim (Liz) Weathers and Danny (Vicki) Weathers, a daughter, Carolyn Weathers Brown (Keith), a host of grandchildren, and loving family and friends.
