Amy K. Barnard, 34, of Pompton Plains, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
Amy graduated from Pequannock High School in 1996 with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Villanova University in 2000, where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was President of Roxbury Materials and Executive Vice President of Barnard Construction in Pompton Plains. An avid Devils fan, Amy was a member of the NJ Devils Club.
Amy will forever be embraced with love by her parents, Dean and Karen; her brothers, Jeff and his wife Tara and Ryan and his fiancé Tara; her sister, Kristen; her paternal grandmother, Marge Barnard; her uncles, Timothy Barnard and his wife Mary, Paul Schroeder and his wife Mary and Carl Schroeder; her aunt, Claire Barnard; her nephews, Matthew and Christopher; her niece, Julia; and many cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Clarence Barnard and her maternal grandparents, Harold and Mazie Schroeder.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am on Saturday, June 30 at Holy Spirit RC Church, Pequannock. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon.
